A formation of Cantharellus friesii, the orange chanterelle, in a local beechwood forest. These mushrooms are edible and have a very fine aroma,
but they are very rare and belong to the protected species in Germany.
I've observed them already in former years but in 2011 they occurred quite numerous at a single location.
